Description

My 24th fan made Sentai series. I had been going back and forth about what I wanted to do for my next team, and...low and behold, a discussion about guns in power rangers inspired this, a steampunk cowboy themed ranger team. Like with Yokaizer, I wanted to spice the team up, having them look uniform yet unique from one another.
I borrowed the color scheme from Zyuranger/MMPR. The only one who is not a cowboy is the sixth ranger.
Probably the 2nd most popular theme in steampunk is well, pirates, so he is a sky pirate.

On a parallel world apart from ours, the industrial revolution of the mid 1800's advanced the march of technology, to the point that machines and equipment were built 100 years before their time, albeit steam powered, including space craft.
The lawless frontier of the American West became displaced, by the vast frontier of the stars.
Colonies were built upon every inhabitable planet earth society could come across.
One such colony was the fledgling outpost of Morphos 93, on the far side of the galaxy away from earth.
Morphos 93 had become the battleground of a three way war, between the Robber Baron's Syndicate, the Starfish Gang, and the native Steam-Breathers. The colony was under constant three factions, and they desperately sent out a call for help, to anyone who would help them.
Their pleas were answered in the form of five drifters equipped with old law ranger technology and weapons, coming from seemingly every dark corner of the galaxy.
Each one had a past they were running from, but they united together to liberate the small colony from their oppressors, bringing an end to the Starfish Gang, and settling the disputes with the Steam Breathers.
The largest of the faction, the Robber Baron's Syndicate left the colony behind, to find somewhere else to set up their base.
After destroying the rangers base in an aerial bombardment, the syndicate escaped, reportedly heading to the other side of the galaxy to Earth. Unable to pursue in their ground based mech, the team receives unexpected help from a enigmatic sky pirate, whose sky ship provides them not only with a new base but a new mecha to help them pursue their enemies across the far reaches of space.
Once on earth, they found the Syndicate had a greater advantage over them, and had already placed bounties on their heads.
Working as vigilantes from their flying base, the six rangers tasked themselves to stopping all of the Robber Baron's malicious deeds on the planet, from the smallest bullying to the biggest hostile takeover, until they drew out the Robber Baron himself. Growing frustrated with his minions' inability to rid his business of this little problem, he decided to take into his own hands.
First he tried to bribe them, believing they could be bought like most anybody he knew. It almost worked on the sky captain, but the crafty pirate revealed he was just playing a ruse to get into the Baron's organization, and act as a mole for the rangers.
After this the Baron created his own team of Bokudo rangers to frame the real ones and make the people of earth think they had turned bad.
This worked a little while, until the real rangers managed to beat them in a one-on-one draw (the sky pirate did not have a duplicate made of himself).
The sky pirate finally gave away his cover when he stole the baron's prize sky ship, and a mecha that had been built for the false rangers.
Unfortunately the sky ship had a tracking device on it, and the Baron personally tracked his stolen ship down to the rangers hide-out.
There, he commandeered the stolen mecha and proceeded to devastate the ranger's base with its superior firepower.
It took a new mecha combination, merging with the sky pirate's own ship, to finally defeat the overpowered crime boss.
Wounded, broken, his empire falling to bits, the Baron challenged the red range to a duel.
The red ranger was a tad slower, but the Baron was a terrible shot.
With their leader dead, the syndicate deteriorated and fled Earth, never to be seen or heard from again.
The six rangers returned to Morphos 93, to live out the rest of their lives in peace.
